Sarah is Just Fair Trade’s managing director and founder. Sarah first heard about fair trade as a teenager at Greenbelt festival in the early 80s. She started buying Traidcraft products including tea, dubbed ‘Sarah’s save the world teabags’ by nursing colleagues at Leicester Royal Infirmary! In 1996 she talked a group of friends into running a Christmas pop up shop with her in Leicester city centre which led in 2000 to the founding of Just Fair Trade. She is a season ticket holder at Leicester Tigers, likes singing, socialising (preferably with red wine) and still goes to Greenbelt festival every year!
